Whilst its location is an advantage being close to the beach and La Rambla that was the only positive i found. The attitude of the staff was at best unfirendly and at worst downwright abusive. After havving a stand up row with the staff over a bill for breakfast we then tried to speak to the manager who is rarely on site. Eventually when we sore him he barely recognised the attitude as aproblem and gave only a semblance of an apology to my wife who had been shouted at by his staff. The whole experience was one of take it or leave it with no pride in the hotel or their manners. the best part of this hotel was when we were out of it.

We stayed here for four nights. It was suggested by the Michelin Guide. Our first night was in an extremely small room with a double bed with a small window. We asked for a room facing the Gaudi Palace across the street which we were able to get the 2nd-4th night. The second room was remodelled, large, great view of the city and bathroom. Be sure to ask for a room facing the Palace on the high floors and you will get a large private balcony and great view. Breakfast was excellent and included. Great location- quiet yet a block away from the Rambla. Hotel front desk recommended good restaurants. WIFI if you have your own computer but no business center/internet access. Great A/C in remodelled room.

Best hotel cant fault it , stayed there twice , room excellent , food excellent, location excellent , staff excellent, what more can one say ... Wouldnt stay anywhere else anyone going you wont be disapointed at all.
