Nice overall. I have requested a room with balcony if possible and surprisingly we got our request. Room is clean. Breakfast is ok but good enough to fill us up for the morning. Location is very convenient. Easy to go out and shop around and bring your stuff back to the hotel within 10 mins walk. Other reviewers were right. Be careful and maybe try not to go out on your own to the back street. Going out to the La Ramblas with lots of people are ok I think. One morning, my husband went out on his own and he was encountered by two Spanish guy and they took the I-phone out from his front pocket on his jeans, they are pretty quick but luckily, my husband was able to grab the phone back and the two guys took off. So, be careful! With the price we paid and the location, I think I will come back to this hotel. Wi-Fi connection is not very good, we have to hold our Ipad close to the wall in a certain direction in order to get connection.

very basic hotel, when you take a look at the reception you might think it is a great hotel.
the first night we had a double room with single beds.
the man at the lobby arrenged us a double bed the next day.
the bedrooms are very basic, without thermostatic shower tap.
no minibar and the tv-channels were constant disrupted.
breakfast was very poor, bad coffee and orange juice and very poor choice.
ADVICE: always watch your wallet!

A very nice hotel with pleasant rooms and a good breakfast, perfectly situated if it were not for the fact that robberies abound in the area, especially in the square where the hotel is situated. We were robbed almost at the door of the hotel and were told that it was a regular occurence. If you do decide to go there, be very careful!

IT was a nice clean hotel and the location couldn`t have been any better, right next to the La Ramblas. The breakfast was ok, good value for money.The only complaint i had and the rest of our friends, was that there was no soap provided 2 wash your hands even after using the toilet, which for hygiene alone, every room should be applied with a bar of soap. Inspite of the famous Spanish hospitality the only smile we got in the 4 days we stayed there was from the chamber maid. Overall our stay wasn`t too bad.
