For this price this is one of the best hotels you can get in Barcelona. We first booked a hostel downtown but I had been reading so many horrible stories about it, I opted for at least a 4* hotel. The gym was indeed run down but I dont think this is the most important thing. The young man at the reception was very friendly and helped us out with train schedules etc.In the small village there is a supermarket and little spots to eat very cheap and good. In Barcelona you will get ripped off badly for even a snack.OK, it is far and you DO have to walk and take a train but the weather is so nice it doesnt matter. It was a daily great workout , better than the gym :)

Well I didn't book, and also didn't check the distance from Barcelona, we paid 60 euros from the airport from Barcelona until there, the hotel itself was nice, good amenities , the gym, the room, free internet, nice staff,but we wanted to get to know Barcelona and it was almost one hour away, we had to take the bus that would take about 30 minutes and then the metro to get in the city centre.The price although was very affordable for one weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel- especially having the pool to ourselves in the morning! However, we were anxious about staying there because it was hard to find anyone to give us directions, and what we did find was contradictory. This is how we got there in the end:
- Go to Fabra i Puig metro station in Barcelona (on the L1 line)
- Get the A4 bus from the bus station directly above the metro station- this comes approximately every 40 minutes.
- The bus stops directly outside of the hotel. Ask for a ticket to the hotel, and watch out for the entrance to the Technology Park- the stop is immediately after you turn into the park. You have to request to stop.

The village that the hotel is in (Cerdanyola del Valles) is very pleasant and has a lovely bakery near the hotel. There are many bars which do good tapas menus at very reasonable prices. We found the locals to be very friendly although with no English. It was a relaxing place to start and end the day after the crowds and constant barrage of Barcelona.

This hotel is really great for its value. However, having a car is a must which is really cheap in Barcelona! Do not take the breakfast at all! You will be pissed off as it does not worth it at all. You pay 11€ for having nothing. Also consider taking a small kettel as hotel does not have a kettel in its room. However, in general this place is great to stay and I do reccommemd it. The staff are so mice and friendly.
