The hotel is in a fantastic location, one minute away from placa Catalunya. If you are looking from the hotel from placa CAtalunya, look for Habitat shop, and it is on the road with the Mc Donalds at the corner.airport busses are parked in the square and leave every few minutes, a great service. Use metro blue line or green line les Cortes stop to see the great Messi and co. . The Market, la Boqueria on Las Rambla is well worth a look, for the colourful displays alone.
Bus trip is also well worth doing, the blue line is more interesting but great way to see the city. It was €26 for one day and €33 for two days sight seeing.
Los Coracoles restaurant is a unique place, really nice for a drink during the day and to sneak a walk through the restaurant. You walk through the kitchen with many chefs cooking up a storm. It's very quiet during the day. Devil's Kitchen bar is in a dodgy area and would not chance it after twilight but does a fantastic burger and for a great price too!
Room Tip: Rooms facing road are obviously noisier, rooms at back whiter but no view.
