I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Location is good. It doesn`t take long time to go in the center of barcelona, about 15 minutes by walk to the place Catalonia or Sants railway station. Room is big, clear and clean. Bed is comfortable, but pillow is small, i used two. Bathroom was with bath and shower. Staff is helpful and professional. Breakfast is wonderful with wide range of meals. Good choice in the Barcelone for its value.

I've stayed 10 nights at this hotel recently have been really happy with both the rooms and the staff who have all been helpful and professional. The two rooms I had were twins and almost identical (sorry). The standard of cleaning and making was excellent.
There isn't really much to speak of for evening meals in the hotel but they do have a limited menu which is reasonably cheap. The bar is excellent value for money. The limited beer range is pretty good when in stock. There are plenty of other bars and restaurants around so that shouldn't really be a problem for most people. My favourite is the Moon Cafe which is on the NE corner at Provenca FGC.
Breakfast is served from 7 in the bar area (due to a refit in the restaurant I believe). The only thing to watch for is the temperature of the milk for the cereals which can sometimes be warmed. Other than that the breakfast was very good with selections of hot and cold food, fresh fruit and bread.

Looking forward to going back in a few weeks.

We stayed 2 nights in this Best Western Hotel in Barcelona in December 2011. The hotel staff were very helpful in supplying infomation on the city and area. The whole of the hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms came with all the little extras plus more that you would normally associate with 5 star hotels such as bathrobes, toothbrushes as well as all the soaps lotions combs shoe shines etc etc. Free WiFi was available in your room and for those without a laptop there was one availble to use in the reception area. Breakfast was more than sufficient to carry you through the day to the evening meal. During our stay the breakfast room on the first floor was being renovated and the breakfast was served on the ground floor in a smaller bar. The hotel is only 5 / 10 minute walk from Las Rambles where you can catch the Hop on Hop off tourist bus to see all the tourist attractions. It was also only a 2/ 3 minute walk to many of the cities gay bars. Without a doubt when we next go to Barcelona we will again stay in Best Western Hotel Dante.

A disappointing stay. Not sure how it gets a 4 star rating. Not that central (despite the claims) but OK. No leisure facilities whilst the bar area doubles up as the breakfast room with breakfast served on the bar. Surprised there are no provisions for an evening meal other than room service. Room fine but got no sleep with the street noise. Staff very 'hit and miss'; some very helpful ... some off-handed. Wi fi a real plus but missed tea / coffee facilities in the room; particularly as ordering anything from room service was a complete nightmare.
