I stayed here for three nights last week (Sun 29 Jan - Wed 1 Feb) as part of a business trip; I will DEFINITELY be returning in the Spring/Summer with my family! The hotel is very impressive on all fronts:
1. the location is superb (50 yds to the Metro/Renfe station entrances, and right in the middle of Passeig de Gracia);
2. the service is excellent: staff cannot do enough to help - wherever I encountered them (at check-in, in the restaurant etc), they genuinely wanted to help you. Why can't everywhere be like this?!?
3. the rooftop pool/bar area looked like a great place to unwind in the warmer months after some hectic sightseeing - a bit too cold to use on this occasion!
4. My room was both clean and spacious and, most importantly, the bed was very comfortable with bed linen of a very high quality.
Looking forward to coming back in the Spring...

Only stayed one night at the hotel, but the check in process was easy and the rooms spacious, clean and quiet, not to mention affordable (110EUR). The highlight was the 2 star Michelin restaurant which is well hidden but the wine, food and service were amazing. Portions small but food prepared with complex layers of flavor and incredible creativity.

I was very disappointed in this hotel - the worst I have stayed in in Barcelona. There seem to be 2 receptions - we went to the wrong one and then had to cross back over the road to a side where the staff were extremely unhelpful and the level of English quite low. They still have smoking floors which absolutely stink - you can smell them from the lift. Room dark and dingy and facing an inner atrium and bathroom dirty and in need to refurbishment

Only stay here if everywhere else is full

Hotel is located in the middle of very chic shopping avenue Passeig de Gracia. I stayed 3 nights in this trendy design hotel, large room overlooking big interior gardens with a balcony with 2 chairs and table, very good bedding with comfortable pillows, nice bathroom with 2 sinks and a large shower stall.
I was surpised by the big choice of the breakfast buffet, excellent coffee, good quality chesses and cold cuts, lare choice of fruit, joghurts, pastries.
Staff was mainly very nice, all very well managed by very professioanal and most friendly Albert Labastida
