Two things are most important for me: Rooms and Location. The rooms in Husa L'illa are BIG ROOMS. Very comfortable. Very neat. The Lobby is Small, But the dining room is big and breakfasts are nice.
The locatiob is quite far from the underground station (15 minutes - regular walk).
The staff is very helpful.
5 stars for the rooms. 2 stars for location. 4 stars for service. 1 star for the lobby.

although next to a mall, and not to far from some coffey shops and restaurants the hotel is about 45 min. walk to the center (catalunya placa), there is an underground station about 10 min. walk.

the rooms are big and clean but our room had a really nasty smell of smoke (you cant open the window!). they tried to spray it but it didnt really work.

summerize it, go to a different hotel!

We travelled with our two children 5 and 9 and shared a room with a sofa bed for the children which was fine. Room very spacious but quite simple and practical. I felt breakfast was more geared towards other cultural palates. This hotel was ok for one night but if you are looking for something a bit different and a pool try the Acevi Villarroel.

Stayed there for 2 nights for a business trip.

The rooms and interior look a bit like done in the eighties, but clean. Service at reception was very friendly, helpful and welcoming - and helped me with finding a gym nearby (DiR, quite pricey but ok)

I had booked a non-smoking room, and there was no smell inside the room - but in the hallway. Very irritating when you opened the door. And an ashtray in the room ...

Beds were a bit hard, and the room pretty spartanic, windows could not be opened.

But the rooms were clean, bath very spacious, wifi worked well, and the room was huge. Lots of space, so I felt very well there.

Would book it again for a short business trip.
