Having to go to Barcelona for business, my company booked me in at the Hilton. It was ok, but found it a little expensive for what it was. Room was ok, but nothing spectacular. I really didn’t like having to pay extra for internet, but didn’t have a choice since I needed to contact the office. The breakfast however was excellent and the staff are very friendly. I would just perhaps try to find somewhere a little cheaper if you are on a budget.

The hotel is a bit far from the city but metro is really close so this is not a disadvantage. But it would be very unfair of me not to mention about the GREAT breakfast. My room was a see viewer and it makes you really feel good when the mediterrenean sea is the first thing when you open your eyes in the morning in a very comfortable bed.

To sum up, if the fares are good you can pick Hilton Barcelona with no doubt.

Everything seemed good, but there were some malfunctions with requests upon arrival that were not met, and some dust in the back of cupboard doors that were not cleaned after recent renovation, and were dusting up out clothes every time we closed the doors ! Minor things, will get away with time.

5 star hotel in Barcelona, one person at reception on our arrival with large queue - no other staff jumped in so we had a long wait to check in. Booked a double room but were told we may not be able to have one, on insistance they 'found' one for us. Room like standard hilton, stain on carpet inside door, shower poor, drain slow. But the worst thing was the bed - absolutely hard as iron, my husband who can usually sleep on anything had uncomfortable nights and aching back. i also find it strange that you have to get your own hot drink at breakfast, I got myself a cofffee and put it on my table then went to get some food - when i got back the coffee cup had been cleared away so i had to go and queue again to get another hot drink. For me it is not 5 star and definately not comfortable. I am fed up of poor service at Hiltons, it is repetitive.
