We left the car at the hotel during our holiday in the Canaries, so spent 2 separate nights there. In each case, the room was fine except for the shower: 1 was very dangerously slippery, the other flooded the bathroom floor. The beds were really comfortable but there was a lot of noise from other rooms and in the corridor.
The common areas, with the exception of reception and the small garden, were not so good. We took one look at the restaurant prices and went into the "zone franca" (through a checkpoint but nobody worried) for a cheap and cheerful meal at a self-service restaurant with a hilarious machine-translated menu. The bar food at the hotel was appalling - totally tasteless sandwiches at a crazy price. We had a look at the pool, which was tiny but surprisingly warm. Not at all inviting though to go through cellars etc to get to it. Shame it's being wasted.
Staff were all fine except that the bar was often left unmanned. The shuttle was useful, though it takes a long time. We rang for it from the airport and were not asked to give name or number of persons. The driver picked us up, then we waited for others who never materialised - I think that was us!
One important thing to note: access can be very difficult as it's close to lights on a busy main road. We had to go past on the opposite side of the road, round the roundabout and back, but we still went into the service area instead of the main entrance - not a good move!

Chose to stay here because of a late arrival and early departure the next day. It was the cheapest and offered a free shuttle from the airport (how great!).We arrived after 10pm with a ton of other people after waiting for the free shuttle for 40 minutes. Front desk staff was rude. Hotel was dingy. Room smelled like either a raccoon had died in the bathtub or Aunt Sally just got a perm on the bed. You get what you pay for i guess. Stay here only if money is the only deciding factor.

Why to choose a hotel airport....the shuttle of course.
The frequency of their shuttle is every 45 minutes (and they write they have the closest hotel with the airport).
With a 45 min frequency, you never know when the shuttle is supposed to be at the airport.

(By the way, during these 50 minutes i saw 3 times the shuttle of Renaissance, 2 times the one of Tryp and Fira Congress).
The funny part of that is that the Tryp and the Fira use the same shuttle company than Alfa...but probably they pay more in order to have a better frequency!

When you call the hotel...they always say, it comes in 10 minutes.
I waited 50 minutes....in Terminal 1.
Then you go to terminal 2....and wait.
Then to the hotel....my problem is that the driver received a call to go back to the airport because some crew members arrived.
They dont respect their clients except crew members!
I arrived at the hotel after 1h20 minutes....I understood from the driver that in fact there is no schedule because he often receives some calls to go there or there immediatly.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere....but its true that there is a bus stop 30 meters.
Nothing around.
I had the room at the end of a corridor...so no internet signal or sometimes but very poor.

My room was 30 meters to a highway toll....so my room was noisy.

The mattress was terrible....the worst of the last 10 years.

Except that...the hotel looks great.

Spend 10 euros more and stay somewhere else.

It was pretty cheap so for one night it worked out just fine. I would not stay there for any length of time though. The room had a smell to it - kind of like our linens had been in a smoky room. Think the AC had been turned off for the year so I opened the window to cool the room off and air it out.

We did take advantage of the free aiport shuttle which was the readon behing staying there. Not very exciting but it works.
