This hotel is BRILLIANT, and we're really fussy!!! From the excellent welcome and introduction to my room to the staff who try their very best to make you happy this place is great.

And we haven't even mentioned the amazing interior and fantastic design throughout the hotel - exactly what Barca is all about.

The location is also perfect, seconds walk from the Ramblas, minutes from the rest of the best Barca sites.

Opera lovers and fans of the Liceu (situated literally next door) will love this Barcelona hotel. The stylish rooms and dazzling modern art deco hotel settings are out of the ordinary. The hotel is clean the staff generally friendly. Alas this did not fully offset the absurdly small size of our 1st floor room, its lack of natural lighting (window faced a wall), its relatively poor sound proofing (loud chatter in the courtyard at early morning hours), or the somewhat high wi-fi fares. This does not mean we will not return . If we did decide to give it a second try, we will triple check the size and situation of the room we're offered before we book.

The staff at this hotel were very helpful and if asked at reception would look up the location of restaurants and other attraction and recommend things to see. The rooms were small but adequate! the bathroom was exceptional, with a fantastic shower!

The location is fantastic about 100m from las Ramblas at Liceu Underground station which provides great links for transport!
