Amazing hotel, beautiful entrance and lobby. Delicious breakfast, huge selection. Big room an bathroom with both a bath and shower. The bed was large but hard - as in most European hotels. No kettle provided in the rooms, but I'm sure they would happily provide hot water if requested. Most helpful staff, and very welcoming. Lovely outlook over garden and pool and very close to barcalona FC stadium and metro station. Overall, great pick!

The Rey Juan Carlos is an impressive hotel, great rooms and service. Probably the best chocolate croissant I've ever had. However, it is far from the city center.

This hotel is a bit of a way from the real centre of Barcelona, so be prepared to build in the cost of transport.
Taxi to the centre is about 16 Euros.
The hotel is superior in every way, the reception area is huge and the staff attentive.
My room was on the 2nd floor and was very well appointed. I wish i had a bathroom at home like this one.
There are bathrobes, full size bath sheets and every type of accessory you could require.
The room was very light and airy with a view of the Football stadium, you can hear the crowd if you open the window!!
On leaving the concierge offered us the hotel car to take us the the airport, for the same price as a taxi so this was an unexpected pleasure.

Only stayed for the one night on a business trip and I was very impressed with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were a very good size.

Free wifi throughout the hotel was a bonus. The food was ok, not anything special but reasonably priced.
