The hotel is a long walk from the main train station as well as being far away from the metro. The metro is about a 15 min walk and the main train station is around 30 min. The hotel room is very clean and modern with a decent size bathroom. We didn't eat in the hotel for there are numerous restuarants nearby. There is a bakery around the corner that serves amazing chocalate croissant.

Barcelona was definitely my best holiday ever! Lot's of interesting places to see, lots of interesting bars and very friendly people. This hotel made my stay in Barcelona even more pleasant!

When we arrived, we asked for a smoking room and they gave us this room with a lovely terrace which we used a lot after a long day of visiting historical places. Having some wine and tapas on the terrace while enjoying the summer breeze was excellent!

The room was not small at all and internet was available in the room as well. In fact, my gf had an interview on Skype while we stayed there and connection was perfect.

The breakfast was really good and fresh with a wide variety to choose from. The underground is a couple of minutes away from the hotel which is very convenient if you don't have your own transport and the center is only a couple of stops away. What I did enjoy as well is that since the hotel is not in the center of Barcelona, the supermarkets are really cheap. In fact, in the morning we were stuffing our bags with water and other supplies and then spend the rest of the day sightseeing.

For those interested in football, the Nou Camp is like a 25 min walk away from the hotel as well! Awesome!

The only draw back of this hotel, which I didn't mind at all (because I didn't use it), is that to make use of the swimming pool, you have to go out of the hotel and go to another hotel hehe. I remember, there was a lovely small bar exactly in front of the hotel that served really cheap tapas and very nice home made sangria! ;)

This hotel has no insulation apparently. And a group of people had no respect for anyone else on a Wednesday evening until 0230. We had to call the front desk twice in an hour and a half...but it did not matter, it was so loud. I will never stay again. I don't blame the hotel so much, but if you need some rest, as we did (I was having surgery the next day), don't bother booking here.

This is a nice hotel, I'm not sure if I'd call it 4 star though. Free wifi throughout the hotel was great!!! Bathroom was a bit worn. Close to Diagonal but a 15 minute walk to the metro. Good breakfast included with our room. Neighborhood was fine but did have some girlie bars that opened at night. They weren't too bothersome though. Overall good hotel if you can get a good rate.
