I had stayed at two other HUSA hotels in Seville and Madrid and they were perfect in almost every way. When I got here, though, I realized this would be a different experience. It's not bad, the location couldn't be better; but even though it has been remodeled like it's shown in the pictures, it still has an old "feeling". We had booked two non-smoking rooms but one of them smelled like "disguised" tobacco and the smell didn't go away even after three days of having the window open. The beds were a little hard too. Everything else was good.

Perfect location 1 min walking distance to the heart of Barcelona, all public transportation and touristic attractions, friendly staff and reasonable quality

We stayed in husa barcelona for 8 days, the thing about barcelona is location, husa has it.
it is near the rambla about 2 minutes walk , it is very close to the metro station.
The breakfast is nice, feels like home :)
the staff is very polite and helpful!
the only thing that we didn't like is that you need to wait few minutes for the hot water in the showers and there is no heat mode in the air conditioner.
