Visited for a weekend break with my mother and sister and had lovely time in this clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel. Beautifully furnished in old style spanish furniture. Great location, breakfasts simple continental style but tasty. Would definately return and plan to do so as soon as possible.

My wife and 2 friends spent New Years Eve in this small hotel this year. we had been a bit put off by the emphasis on noise and thin walls but were agreeably surprised to find ourselves in a reasonably sized room with a large bathroom,where the window looked out on nothing much but a quiet nothing much! Seems a good idea to ask for a non street facing room as there was some noise from neighbours but not anything extreme. Very well situated,decorated in a very Spanish colour scheme ,friendly staff and not too expensive. No garage except nearby public one at about 30 eoros for the day but even on this busy day there was room. Buffet breakfast convenient and OK though 3 rather than five star I would say.Altogether well worth a look for central Barcelona

If you want five star luxury and all the fancy bits then this hotel is not for you. However if traditional spanish is what you want then this is the place to stay in Barcelona. Very authentic, friendly staff and a buffet breakfast that would do justice to any five star. The city never sleeps so why go for the more expensive hotels when you are never there. Go for it!!!!!!

Good location etc but oh the walls are thin, the neighbours got their clothes out of the cupboard at 6 in the morning and you would swear`they were in the wardrobe in my room! Could hear a man snoring all night and had to whisper if u got home late. Not a place for enjoying the Barcelona nights and sleeping in, only for the early risers.
