Beautiful hotel, very smart, clean with polite and attentive staff. Room was also great, good size with comfortable bed. Had the best hot chocolate ever (room service). Great location, able to walk everywhere. I would stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row, pre/post cruise. Although we liked it the first time enough to come back, the 2nd time was after the renovations had been completed and this time we were THRILLED. Beautiful modern rooms with an amazing shower, Nespresso coffee machine in the room, rooftop pool, delicious buffet breakfast and within walking distace to so many things. The rates were relatively reasonable (for Europe) as we booked far in advance and took advantage of their extended stay promotion.

Excellent location within walking distance of everything, and I mean, everything. The concierge is very informative and know all the good places to eat. It would be worthwhile checking with them about restaurants and anything else. One even found me an optical shop where I could buy contact lenses! It is worth upgrading to a room with a view as the internal rooms, in spite of their size, are dark and look onto a construction site at the moment. B&B does not include room service breakfast so be warned. The management kindly reimbursed my breakfast expense as no one told us that breakfast was only available in the dining room. This is my third stay at the Majestic and I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone travelling to Barcelona.
