This Hotel was extremely convenient in that it was right off La Rambla. It is about 6 blocks from the Liceau metro stop or about 4 blocks from the Catalunya metro stop. The yahoo map did not show it in the right place, so I wound up wandering the neighborhood for about 20 minutes, until I asked a local if he knew where it was. With the help of a little high school Spanish and a very friendly man, we finally found the place. It is on Pintor Fortuny, right across from the Parker Meridien hotel.

The hotel looked quite nice from the lobby area. The room was clean and decent sized. Although they were not going to let me in until 2, they took pity on me after a 20-hour flight with little sleep, and when I told them that I did not care what kind of room I got (had booked 2 double beds), they let me have my room then (about 10:30 am). I got a single king bed.

The other comments about the walls being thin are correct, but I was tired, and slept just fine.

Hotel recommendation for a restaurant for dinner was spot on, and I had a very nice stay at this hotel.

Location between many tourists spots and the tourist bus routes. Quiet location just off Ramblas but close to good restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cleaning of the room is very satisfying. Service and room service was excellant.
WiFi not accessible in room but could receive it in reception area. The floor was not clean. Buffet breakfast good but pricey at 18.50 per head

Walking distance to everywhere. Clean nice just a little outdated. Near the fabulous market. Get nav free on your iPhone it's brilliant and takes you everywhere. Go and eat down the called street st Joseph it's.cheaper. Amazing wine bar called la vinya del signor. Brilliant wine only fits 7 couples. Price is reasonable and you will pay 4 to 6 euros less for a bottle of wine. Loved barcelona. Men are a bit short though

This hotel is beautiful! Plus, its downtown, but not in front of all the Hustle and Bustle. A 5euro cab ride will get you to the La Ramblas. You get free Wi-Fi everywhere in the building, which was awesome! The breakfast was delicious. You have to try the eggs! Fresh fruit! Crispy Bacon!! Mmmm
