Stayed at this hotel following cancelled flight. Around 50 passengers arrived at the same time and check in was completely disorganised. The hotel had accepted the booking from the airline however was ill equiped to manage the number that arrived. check-in was a shambles with only one member of staff working to allocate rooms and copy passports etc. Restaurant apparently closed at 10.30pm however at 10.15 we were told that they were closed as it was 'quite late' and they "didnt have enough food anyway". The hotel then arrange to have take-away delivered which didnt arrive until almost midnight. No heating in rooms ment that I slept with the supplied bedding (cotton sheets with 1 light fleece blanket) but also had to add a second blanket I had packed to use during my flight. Only 1 mirror in the room which was in the bathroom made it very difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. Advice that was offered from reception regarding transfer time from the hotel to the bus station at rush hour was also less than useless, a supposed 20 minute journey took almost an hour. Overall I was pleased that I hadnt paid to stay at this hotel as I would have been looking for a refund.

Very small rooms. The rooms have not been renovated since it was built ... carpet was the most disgusting I have ever seen. Very nice staff, however, who complained and said that all rooms were in the same state. Poor breakfast with undrinkable coffee. Cheapest bread, cheese, ham etc.. Scrambled eggs made of mix.
Internet 9 Euro / h!
Four stars ... where they bought them?!

We were stranded by the ash cloud and needed an overnight in Barcelona. We found this hotel online and the price was good, only €75 for each double room. The staff were great and the hotel was, as promised, very near the Estacio Barcelona Sants.

Unfortunately, the rooms were very dim. There were bedside lamps and one lamp on the desk but no overhead lights at all. I like a dim room but this was too dark for me!

As well, the bed was as hard as a rock and I could feel coils in places.

One final downside is that the hotel is situated near a little park area and our rooms faced it; dog walkers use the park, lots of them, and there is a lot of barking from early till late. When the dogs stop, the drunks start.

I wouldn't stay here again. Nor would I recommend it.

I would never use this hotel or the group again. Having reserved and paid two weeks in advance, when arriving at 9 pm on the 31st December, wishing to spend New Years Eve in the center of Barcelona with our family, we were told the room had been double booked. We were not the only people, we found out there were another 4 couples Whose contract had not been honored. We were offered alternative accommodation at the airport but we had just arrived from the airport. Clearly if We wish to stay in the area of the airport that is where we would have stayed. We eventually occupied one single room. No apologies, no regrets and we only received the difference in price between double and single room after 2 months.
