The reception staff are responsive to guest requests, very nice and helpful. The hotel is 10 minutes walking in a straight line to the fantastic sandy beaches. Some shops in neighbourhood. The room was quite comfortable, very well-equipped.
No tea/coffee in the room. Room service close at 10:30 pm and not 24h. I had problems with internet connetions,

I didn't want a hotel in the centre of the city because I drove to Barcelona and finding parking on streets in the center is almost impossible. So I was looking for a hotel with quite area, not far from the centre and possibility of finding free parking on the street so this was the place for it.

Hotel itself was nice and in accordance with 4 star level. Room was spacious and staff was helpful. Price was great too. All in all a good experience and I would come back again.

Stayed here a week before Christmas 2011. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Location was fine. Walking distance to beachfront. Even walked to centre of town (love walking).
Not far from Metro or tram stops.
Room was upgraded - had balcony and jacuzzi.

Overall my stay was great,the hotel is very modern. I did not use any other facilities, the rooms were clean and staff at times helpful. I've only slept at the hotel, as I was out most days in town exploring the city. Hotel location wasn't bad but also not so great, you will see that the neighborhood isn't the best. The hotel is located about 7/10minutes walking distance from Llacuna metro station on the yellow line, which is good for connection to Estacion francia (if you are traveling outside the city) and Barceloneta if you fancy a walk by the beach. Some local residents have told me that the area becomes a bit wild during the weekends due to few night clubs in and around the hotel, but i cannot comment on that as my stay was during weekday. If you are a young traveler or do not speak the language I would recommend getting back to the hotel by taxi at certain times.
I would recommend the hotel for short a short stay in Barcelona.
