Normally stay at the Novotel up the road, but decided to try the Ibis out this time on our regular journey from Santander to Gibraltar. Easier access to the A62 than the Novotel with parking to the front and side in well lit areas. The room was small but adequate and functional for a night, and the restaurant had a basic menu but the meals and service was very good. Didn't encounter any problems with noise or the aircon, had a great sleep and enjoyed a good breakfast. Nicely set us up for the 475 mile drive ahead of us.
This is not a tourist hotel within walking distance of sights, etc. It's in this location for the autovia (as you'll see from all the international number plates in the car park), and this hotel is highly recommended as a safe bet for an overnight stay.

Very good breakfast.
Room bed ok but small still not to bad.
Good HVAC which during summer is a must.
Shall use the parking behind the hotel which is more secured that ones on the side and front. Still not very safe.
Very easy access from and to the motorway.

This hotel is excellent for an overnight stay, it is easy to find, if you follow the directions given on the autoroute and from the hotel itself. The meals were very good value for money. The service was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet despite being very close to the autoroute.

Typical IBIS hotel located away from city centre in an industrial area. The walk to the city centre was 35mins. Safe parking behind the hotel. Most suitable for an overnight stop when travelling. For city visit I would book a hotel closer in.
