My wife and I traveled to Spain in August of 2011. We are sorry it took us so long to write about some of the hotels we stayed in during our trip. But better late than never I guess. We would feel guilty if we didnt write at least a few comments about our experience in the Hotel Infanta Isabel in Segovia. This hotel was the last hotel we stayed in for 2 nights during our 2 week trip. It was difficult enough to come home from such a wonderful trip, but leaving this hotel was even harder. I hope the hotel reads this review, so they can hear us say Thank you one more time. the hotel is direclty on the Plaza Mayor. We were on the top floor with a room overlooking the PLaza. The room size was amazingly large by European standards. The bed was very comfortable. The view of the Plaza and the Catherdral was truly beautiful and romantic. The hotel is clean, service is excellent in every regard. Thank you Hotel Infanta Isabel for making our stay "an experience" we will always savor. You made the perfect ending for our trip!!

I stayed here with my husband earlier this year and we were very impressed by the service we received, especially at the front desk and in the restaurant. We had an attic room that was charmingly decorated, surprisingly spacious, and very clean. The location was very handy and conducive to walking around the town.

Although right on the Plaza Mayor, this hotel needs remodeling. While it is true that the hotel is charming and has a great location, our room and bathroom were very tiny and not very clean. The carpets were worn and torn in some places. We have stayed in many historical hotels, but this one really needed a bit upgrading. The staff was not the friendliest but they gave us adequate directions to the aqueduct and a good restaurant. The hotel is well situated near the cathedral. There is a great breakfast place just next to the hotel (Limon y menta). Driving to the hotel was a nightmare, but once there, they park your car and you can walk everywhere. Parking was expensive but you really don't have a choice.
