Stayed at the Ibis for a couple of nights. Found it to be a great choice if travelling by car, as the hotel offers plenty of secure overnight parking at a very reasonable cost (€7).
The hotel is in a quieter residential area, less than 1km from Plaza Major.
The hotel and room were found to be very clean and comfortable. Found the shower to be excellent. The room was more than ample for a short stay.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Everything else was the standard Ibis affair offerring great value accomodation close to the areas of interest.

The receptionist was very helpful and suggested where to visit/eat.
There was no restaurant in the hotel.
The parking was secure (under the hotel) but chargeable.
The room was clean and acceptable but smaller than other IBIS hotels we have stayed.
Our only recommendation is we would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room.

If staying in Salamanca for a couple of days. I would definitely recommend Ibis, to do its location, close to city center (Old Town) 7 min on foot but a away from the noise of this student city quarter.
Parking available at cheap prices compared with other available nearby.
The some comfort and service at any other Ibis location, for the reasonable price in line with the conditions available.

Yet again we have used this hotel as an overnight stop while travelling between The Algarve and the Spanish/French ferry ports. The IBIS is not difficult to find, with a little help from Tom Tom. Narrow streets surround the hotel, but pull up-check in quickly and 2 turns to the right will see you into the underground garage. Hotel is perfectly situated for being in a city, with plenty of cafes/eating houses close to hand. As with most IBIS hotels the bedroom decor is dull, but the room does have all the facilities needed for a quick stop.

We will be staying there again, for its convenience.
