I paid just $28 Euros per night to stay in this fine, modern establishment. Located right off one of Spain's most impressive plazas, this was a wonderful surprise! I expected more of a "hostel-type" environment, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Rooms are small as hell, but clean. Cable TV, nice shower, and a small window in the room opened up to the sounds of the students and tourists hustling around this wonderful town. If you're visting Salamanca for 2 nights (which is a perfect amount of time here) then stay at Ceylan!

Fantastic Hotel Staff, make this a very little gem in the centre of Salamanca, only a 5 min walk from the Cathedral and the main Plaza as well as the rest of the World Heritage Buildings etc..
I have stayed at this Hotel now three times upon my second arrival - the reception staff remembered me, (Could it be that I am the only English nuutter that drives a 405 Estate and use the underground car park - that was designed for a Punto or simular sized car). Franco took me to a carnival on my return visit and as I was "his Guest" he refused to let me pay for the drink or food.
Fantastic is an ardjective that is far too often used and so fellow travellers may not understand the true meaning of the word.

This is a bargain hotel in the heart of Salamanca. Good clean rooms and a friendly receptionist. We were lucky with parking as we managed to find a space just a few yards from the hotel as another driver moved out, but parking could well be a problem in this city.

Downside is that the central location means noisy revellers at night and some noise from other guests too. Do what I did: take earplugs and you'll have a trouble-free stay at a bargain price.
