The location of the hotel was great. It is just 5 min from the shrine by walk. The sight of the hotel itself is a pleasing experience after a tiring day out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is just fabulous with fast service and mouthwatering dishes ranging from South Indian meals to North Indian delicacies combined with Chinese delights.

The hotel was lovely, the restaurants food was poor! I had a spacious double room with an en suite bathroom. My bedroom had three phones one by my bed, one on the desk and one in the bathroom, a tv, a mini bar and was very comfortable. The hotel was in a good location and i enjoyed it very much! As for the restaurant, there are plenty of nic eplaces to eat tapas near by :O)

I stayed with the English immersion group from Vaughantown for five days at this lovely hotel, my room was spacious and located just off the lobby. It was clean, bright with a modern bath and amazing double window to a quaint street. The staff was accomodating and friendly, and the lobby had old world charm and modern touches all in one. The patios on different levels were perfect for intimate conversations and the bar was generous to a fault with your cocktail. The Restaurant however seemed to belong to a different hotel, unfriendly staff, cold, unappitizing food and leftovers put out for 5 days in a row, the fruit turned black and the restaurant manager was standing there watching this go on as person after person complained. In short, I would recommend this Hotel as the place to stay to see amazing Salamanca, but never venture down the stairs to the restaurant, never.

I participated in an English language immersion program for Spanish professionals as a volunteer, and we were based at the NH Palacio de Castellanos. The accommodations were perfect...the rooms weren't overly spacious, but a good size, and I had a lovely view of the cathedral from my window/small patio.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff are very helpful. I even enjoyed their toiletry products.

The only gripe I had was about the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is worth it, but I'd suggest sampling the many tapas spots and restaurants in the area to get your money and palate's worth.
