Stayed at this hotel because the reviewer could not find the location of the hotel they wanted to stay at. So it came without any preconceptions. However the hotel although clean and presentable was very hot. You could hear all of the other bedroom door banging shut, so it was noisy in this and other ways (see below).
Bedroom temps were into the 30 degrees centigrade. It was impossible to sleep. There was air condition but the unit was noisy and did not work very well. Turning off the heating did not help as the pipes were located under the floor and the heat could be felt through the tiles. Opening the windows was not an option either as the hotel is situated next to a very busy road, and traffic lights so lorries could be heard braking all night long. The village also has a very large factory located next door so smells often drifted over the area. No evening meal was taken at the hotel, as there was a nice restaurant a few doors away. Breakfast was not good value for money.
Service of the personal and value was not up to the 3 stars awarded to the establishment.
