Great location near the cathedral. Charming interior. No elevator, so request a reception floor room if mobility is an issue. Helpful staff. Excellent wi-fi connection. Comfortable room with some car noise at night (curious since this is a mainly pedestrian town). Discount parking at public lot was provided (and appreciated).

Okay, the breakfast was just a typical European breakfast (bread, cheese, coldcuts, etc) but you ate it on this wonderful rooftop terrace, looking over tiles roofs for a view of the cathedral. Lovely. The room was fine.... clean, comfortable, quiet except for the occasional group of revelers coming home during the night. A very walkable location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This lovely, renovated 400-year-old hostal seems unique. Not only is it located right beside the cathedral, its three floors feature rooms celebrating the Christian, Jewish and Moorish heritage of Toledo. More, each room is themed for an ancient craft or trade, with ours displaying tools used by the glassmaker's trade. It was charming, reasonably priced and an ideal base from which to explore Toledo.

This is a very nice, quiet, small hotel. I had a single room with a large window facing the narrow street. Although the room was quite small, it was very quaint, with hardwood floors and a warm feeling. I liked the Tuscan colored walls and old bed frame. The big windows opened out to a small balcony with plants. It was nice to open up the windows and relax with the cool breeze coming through. There was a tiny T.V. with no English channels. The bathroom was fine, with a small shower, and no problem with hot water. It would have been nice to have a hair dryer, though. There was a little street noise, but it wasn’t bad at all. Everything was very clean.

As other reviewers have said, the breakfast patio was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the cathedral and the tile rooftops of Toledo. The breakfast itself was simple, but good. The location of the hotel was perfect, deep into the beautiful streets of old Toledo. I took the inexpensive bus from the train station and made my way to the hotel from the bus stop. I had to ask about five people for directions, and a kind local woman finally walked me most of the way to the hotel. The streets are pretty confusing, so you really need to know where you are going.

I booked through booking.com and got a very reasonable rate. I thought the hotel was a great value, and would stay there again.
