We stayed just one night whilst driving through Spain. We had always wanted to go to Toledo and were not disappointed by this intriguing old city. The Eurostar is outside of the walled city. Finding the hotel was easy and it had a great underground secure car park.
It is about a 20 ' 25 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor. It is uphill in places, so being a retired couple we decided to take a taxi. The taxi cost just 5.5€ which was well worth it.
We had a very comfortable night's sleep, then an adequate breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English, though we can converse in Spanish.

The hotel itself is quite nice. We have got a very low rate but I suppose that it is due to the fact that it is a little bit away from the city center - you can go by car, or take the bus. Actually u can even walk (we did) - it is about 15 mins walking but I wouldn't recommend doing it in summer during the day - too hot.
The rooms were good enough, with a big bed and aircon. Can't find anything wrong actually. May be the pillows - they were too flat, but this is a matter of taste and habit

I stayed in this hotel from June 13-17, 2011. Rooms are clean but smaller than comparable size hotels in US (it is considered 4-star rating hotel in Toledo, Spain). Air conditioning in the room took a bit of time before a comfortable temperature was achieved. A piece of advice: keep your ac running in case you want to stay for longer than one day. The best part of the stay was a healthy breakfast comprising of fruits, fruit-juice, cereals, cheese, breads etc. (i am a vegetarian therefore non-veg items are missing from my list). In my personal experience, this is the best hospitality i have experienced in my life so far. The best hospitality was gratis since it was part of per day room rent. I would love to stay in that hotel again.

since we where travelling with a car, and was our third day in spain, having already visited Segovia and Avila, wanted a hotel more to relax, enjoy the lovely views, with private carpark. when booking the hotel, we chose half board, and very glad we did so. the food was excelent! 5 star. the restaurant staff were very friendly. went with our car to the center of Toledo, parked it, did some sightseeing on the little train and returned to the hotel to relax. they offered us champagne. said it was included in the booking, didn't know that, which was a lovely surprise. if returning to Toledo, would definitly stay here again.
