Nice hotel to stay for a weekend in Toledo, very close to the interesting tourist sites and a it has a nice restaurant close by. Well, everything is close by, because old town Toledo is not that large...

I choose this hotel because it was very well located, i could walk to every corner of Toledo, in just some minutes. I really enjoyed walking no any site and not having to take the car. This is the main advantage of the hotel, its location. Also, it is in a nice and calm area so you will not find it full of people screaming and of loud music.
The hotel is ok, the rooms were ok, my room was located on the top floor, with only a velux windows so that is a weird sensation (of not having windows). The bathroom was really nice, y find the bath great for an afterwalk relax.
the staff was very friendly, it helped with all my needs (like chilling some champagne bottles for me, or send me metal cubes with ice as i demanded them. Really nice staff.
I would def go back or recommend it to anyone that wants to walk by Toledo.

Funny hotel this, we had a room on the second floor, and it was in the roof so only had a Velux window. As far as I could see only 4 or 5 of the 35 rooms could offer a view, so beware of that.

As with most Spanish hotels in cities it is difficult to find, so download everything you can to get you there safely. We used the hotel parking at 15€ per day extra. But their winter offer at 68€ per day for a double room was excellent value for money. Had we paid the full price for that room of over 200€ per night it would not have been worth it.

The hotel is part of a group that also includes the Pintor hotel in Toledo and one other one. So they have a certain grip on this end of the market.

We did not take the hotel breakfast at 12€ per head, but opted for one of the good cafes nearby - there is a wide choice within easy walking distance for both breakfast and dinner. In passing I would say that as in most Spanish towns, the set lunches are half the price of dinner in the same restaurant and re worth considering for your main meal of the day.

We found the staff fairly neutral, basically because apart from check in, we interacted little with them. The check in was perfunctory, and not particularly warm, but nothing apart from that.

My advice would be to see what price they are offering and base your decision on that.

We booked a suite on the top floor for +190 euro per night. Nice rooms, but we had no control of room temperature. We could turn off the heat (which shut off all ventilation), but could not cool down the rooms. Hotel staff could not help. Only option was to open the windows when it was not raining. We were very uncomfortable here and did not sleep well.
The hotel staff was the most enigmatic group we encountered during our 3 weeks of holiday on the Iberian Peninsula. Perhaps it was not intentional, but the brusque attitude toward polite guests at a "4 star" was startling. The notable exception was the very welcoming young man who helped us in the garage. We arrived early enough to get hotel parking, which was very convenient, but not included in the price for the room.
We ate breakfast at the hotel buffet both mornings to save time. Plenty of choices, fresh OJ, nice bread and pastries selection. (Price was not included with the room. )
Not sure why this hotel has a 4 star rating. We received poor value for the price. If we go back to Toledo, we will look elsewhere.
