For the price range (“hostal” in Spain is like pension in other parts of Europe…very basic accommodations but usually private room and bathroom), this was a great option. I believe we paid 40 euros a night for a nice, immaculately clean room. The owners and staff were very friendly and always at reception, ensuring who came and went from rooms.
This location was great for us, as we had a car, so it is just off the main road coming into the town, and there was plenty of street parking (or underground garage was 6 euros a day). It was about a 10 minute walk to the base of Toledo, and another 7-10 minutes to the top. In comparing prices, to get anything closer to town requires at least 30-40 euros a night more in price, so this is a great option.
