“Charming Convienient Comfortable Historic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Beautuful old bakery--carefully renovated. The Pintor El Greco is a cozy comfortable choice. It is close to restaurants, historic sights, and shops. You can expect good value for the cost. Choose the underground garage parking (15 Euros/day). It's a tight squeeze but worth the cost to hide the car in a secure location. This hotel provides a wonderful free breakfast and a lobby computer for internet access.

“What a gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

I can't fault this cracking little hotel. I'll have a little go at describing a great experience..

Imagine a historic building totally refurbished (and spotless) in a great location to explore the fantastic old city of Toledo. Throw in huge rooms with marble bathrooms big enough to hold a party in and then throw in large comfortable beds, silent walls, great wifi and, after enjoying all of that, imagine waking up to a buffet breakfast spread situated in an old vault room with enough choice to baffle the fussiest eater.

Combine with that a gang of friendly and immensely helpful staff and I think you have the perfect hotel stay. Did I mention it only cost 75 euros a night with breakfast?

Who could ask for more? Well done guys!

“Good location, garage wasn't available”

We stayed one night in this hotel. We arrived about 9:00 PM and there wasn't more available space in the hotel's garage.
Our room was in the building (extremely suggested), and was spacious and modern.
Very good option in Toledo

Room Tip: Ask in the new building

“in the heart of toledo”

stayed here for three nights over new year.lovely little hotel within the old city of toledo. 35mins on the train from madrid this was my first visit tio the city and wow was i impressed.the hotel is situated next to the el greco museum (sadly closed on all three days i was there) and at the bottom of a hill which leads to the city centre.room was good size as was bathroom, and as our window was facing to the west we were treated to amazing sunsets in the evenings. We stayed in room 21 which is literally adjacent to the elevator and so you hear everyone arriving and departing ,plus the airconditioning units were mounted beneath our window so it got a little noisey at night but it was ok . the only real problem i had with hotel was the lack of bar or restaurant in the evening, especially over new year as there was nothing open in toledo on dec 31 and few places to eat on jan 1. we drank most of our mini bar on the first night and sadly it wasnt restocked during our stay so i resorted to going to the nearby supermarket for supplies.I would stay here again as i liked the atmosphere of the place and the interior was tastefully decorated.it was definetely value for money and a great location to wander the streets from, and all the staff were extremely helpful and polite.i must add that they did include breakfast gratis as we had not booked it and that was a nice touch. As i said i would stay here again but next time will upgrade to a suite.
