We stayed one night Wednesday October 19th. Next to the bus station, two blocks to the Avis car rental location in Toledo and a fairly easy walk to the train station. We were given a very nice room with a terrace and furniture. The room was priced well for the location, and overall condition of the room. The front desk gal when we first got there was not all that helpful as she told me I had my reader set up wrong to get email, but when I went into the cafe at the hotel, it worked just fine? We stopped back by for breakfast when we dropped the car off at Avis, and the desk guys were wonderful, even getting the cafe guy to do eggs and bacon for us, plus they let us leave our luggage as we did a mad dash up the hill to the Cathedral.

We walked in and got a decent room for less than 70 euros. It was small, but clean and comfortable.

the location was good, a cheap cab fare from the hotel to the main attractions, without having to worry about driving and parking.

The advice and helpful advice from the front desk was exceptional.

We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in Hotel Mayoral in september as part of a group. The hotel is beside the bus station and 15 mins walk from the train station but it's an uphill walk into Toledo. Taxis are available outside the hotel so all in all the location us very good. Unfortunately the rooms are very basic and small but clean. The food we were served as a group was terrible so we only ate there 3 nights out if 7. There were only 2 choices and you had to decide the nite before what you wanted for dinner the next day!!!! Also the bar shut at 10.45pm so if you wanted a drink you had to go elsewhere by taxi as there is nothing else in the vicinity. Great location for accessing public transport, just don't bother with the food!!

We just came back after staying at this hotel for one night. The train station (30 min. ride on AVE from Madrid) is fairly close, we took the city bus because it was hot and a long walk with suitcase, but it's the next bus stop after train station. Older hotel, no frills but roomy and clean, free Internet and small fridge with 2 bottles of water per person, free of charge. The air conditioning in the room was not cold enough and though it was not uncomfortable, we were not able to make it colder...controlled temperature. Room a bit dark with small window to interior patio. Bathroom was large, white and clean, updated. To go into the historic center of Toledo one must walk uphill...we recommend you take the city bus for 0.95 euros per person per trip. At night we stepped outside in front of the hotel you could see Toledo up on the hill with dramatic lights throughout, very beautiful view. Overall good value and nice staff at this hotel.
