This hotel really needs a facelift. It could really be a lovely hotel with a bit of money spent on it . New carpets are needed throughout, It is on the outskirts of toledo which was fine for us as we had a car. The restaurant was nice and food was good, breakfast was a buffet. The rooms were large and spacious and the bathroom was clean, However the rooms were really tired and the bathrooms very old fashioned,

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon trip to Spain. The hotel is not in the city center and we had to take cabs to the city (around 7-9 euros each trip). This was a big drawback. Had I known how far it was from the sites I would have booked a comparably priced boutique hotel room inside the city gates. The walls are very thin and I could hear our neighbors having a coughing fit in the middle of the night and their hairdryer in the morning. This probably means they could hear us too. :-/. One plus is this hotel has a pool but it isn't all that much to look at. It also had breakfast included which was nice but the food was mediocre. This hotel is much more suited for conferences and/or business travel - not tourist travel.

This hotel is located outside Toledo. Some rooms face the distant city and have an excellent view; others face a more bleak landscape of tall apartment buildings. Ask for a room with a view. During our stay air conditioning was functioning but it was under refurbishing and there was no control at the rooms. On the other hand, its magnificent pool and patio facilities offered plenty of solace to the weary and hot traveler. The rooms are well appointed; the lobby is huge and with plenty of sitting space; the restaurant and cafeteria are well appointed and offer good service. The morning breakfast buffet was first class. Perhaps one of its best features is the garden and pool. Cabanas and plenty of shaded resting places are provided, although the pool is not available at night and until 10 a.m. in the morning. There is plenty of parking next to the hotel premises. The staff was courteous.
Be prepared to hire a taxi to go into Toledo or drive your own car into the city--which given the limited parking facilities is rather risky.

Hotel looked lovely, pool was really nice, service was very good and rooms were comfortable. The room carpets were dirty, I found a fly in my salad, a cockroach under the dinner table and a bug in my tea cup. The hygiene/pest control of the hotel was seriously lacking. Also, the hotel boasted of a piano bar, however there was no music or piano in any of the hotels bars. I would not stay at this hotel...
