Yet another hotel that does not understand what it is all about. When you enter the hotel for the first time, you will be amazed by all the luxury, paintings, mirrors and other shiny things.
But then you go to your room, lie on the bed, and wonder how many other people are in your room. He, it is only you. The problem is that the walls in this hotel are as thin as paper. Tune the television on the same channel as your neighbour, switch of the sound of the television, and you can still follow the movie. Or listen to the conversation of the neighbours. This is the most noisy hotel I have ever been in , and I have been in lots of hotels!! It is not noise from the traffic, but noise coming from the left, from the right and from above. It is in fact not noise....just ordinary sounds like talking, tv, doors, etc. As if there are no walls between the rooms.
Staff was not helpfull at all, when I asked for another room. I still don't understand why I can't get a room without neighbours in a hotel that is nearly empty.
The hotel has beautiful wooden floors....hence you hear "tick-tick-tick" all the time.
Am I an oversensitive person? No....I am just a business person that paid a lot of money, and wants to have a quiet room. But that is not possible in this hotel. Will go somewhere else next time.
