Have stayed in this hotel several times now. Hotel is a good 4 star business hotel, clean and with superb service. Can not be faulted.

Actually stayed here nearly a year ago, forgot to write up this review!

Anyway, the area the hotel is in is next to lovely beaches, and the posher tourist end of town. Santander is actually a lovely place, the views from the hotel were excellent, of the bay and surrounds.
I had balcony facing the sea.

The hotel rooms aren't large, but very well maintained and clean. The bathrooms are large very modern and spacious.

They have black out curtains also, even though it's northern Spain, the Sun still packs a wallop. It is very much a sun-trap place.

The restaurants are excellent, and there is a lovely bar/eating area where the impeccable waiters will make great sandwiches and drinks.

Very professional, very pleasant airy and modern.

Santander is a difficult place to escape without a car, so arrange this ( there is room to park up underneath the hotel), then it's a doddle to explore the remote and beautiful cantabrian coast.

This is definately where the Spanish holiday, and it shows.

Great hotel, great food, and wonderful town to chill out in and relax.

Stayed at the Gran Victoria for three nights at a very reasonable price - 60 euros on Bancotel.The advantages of the Gran Victoria include its location, quiet atmosphere, and beautiful gardens. It appears to be an apartment building that was converted to a hotel, based on the room layout. The room was relatively small, but the balcony was enormous, with a pretty view of the sea. The oddest thing was that the bathroom had a glass door and thus offered very little privacy.
