We only passed through Santander on route to Catalonia staying one night there and one night back but found the Abba very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. We would stay again and explore Santander a bit more too.

we stayed in santander for 5 days and booked this hotel online based on its affordable rates and its advertised central position. we did not expect it to be ideally located to the main railaway station in santander and to pay 1,40 euros per passanger from the airport to the hotel's corner!! after this nice discovery we entered the building and found it to be very chic, clean, with interior glass elevator, small and low profile but so cosy!
the room itself was medium size with a king size bed, the bathroom was brand new, had a bath tube, wc and separate bidee ( which you don't normally find in a 3 star hotel), bathtub, plus a really good selection of bath amnities, including tooth paste and shaving cream.

moreover, breakfast was more than decent - I could find yogurt, eggs, cheese, fresh fruit, prunes and almonds, which I loved - and the british waiter was so nice and polite!

overall, nothing dissapointed us in abba santander, on the contrary, it was all a pleasant surprise because it's a truly nice experience to feel so confortable in a 3 star hotel.

After taking it in turns with my Husband driving up from Almeria-Santander in one day. It was the ideal place to stop over.......The rooms have Twin/Double...We have a Kings Size Bed at home theirs are bigger.!! Staff-very helpful, Accomodation was Clean, Comfortable, included a Mini Bar.Shower/Bath/Television, everything you need after such a long journey.
Although, there is a Restaurant/Cafe & Room Service.....within the hotel we opted to go out for a Chinese Great Food, plenty of places to Eat & Drink...
The morning of Departure by Ferry we booked in ......and ventured out again to the Tapa's Bars for Breakfast , they are wonderful.....perhaps we should take a leaf out of their book.....and do the same.....We would reccomend that you stay there......we will of course go there again.........

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and nice, but no frills. The bed was very big, which we liked. The location was great right next to the bus station. I felt it was a little overpriced, but I guess most hotels in the area are. Some of the staff was very helpful, and others weren't at all. We arrived before checkin time and though I was quite certain they had rooms available (based on just booking one day earlier and them having availability for the nights before), we were told it wasn't time for check-in and to return later. That wasn't ideal, but I guess it was fair since they do publish check-in times. The best part of the hotel was the location.
