i thought the pinamar hotel was rather nice. i agree the food isnt very good, but overall i thought the clenliness of teh hotel was average or even above. and the staff were very helpfull. ( i also loved the decor). thankyou hotel pinamar for a very plesant stay.

I stayed at the Hotel Pinamar when I travelled to Santander with my school. Despite school holiday accomodation being notoriously dodgy, i certainly did not expect this. The rooms were FILTHY, particularly the bathrooms. There was mildew and mould between the tiles, and the shower screen looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The beds looked like glorified hospital beds, after walking barefoot in my room, my feet looked like I'd walked barefoot through a pig sty/swamp. The food was TERRIBLE. One night, we were served soup that had a half inch layer of grease on the surface, chicken that was till raw in the middle, not to mention the night when they didn't make enough food and we had to wait an hour for them to cook something else.. which, by the way, was equally as revolting. The corridors are plain and resemble an early 1900's asylum. Where the description of "Comfortable and elegant" came from, i don't know, but let me tell you, this hotel is anything but that.
