Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend as part of my first trip to Tenerife. The hotel is in an excellent location for the city & shops & bars. The hotel is up to the usual NH standard, clean lines & very smart. The hotel is a little hard to find by car but it is just 1 block back from Plaza Espana. I was allocated a room on the 5th floor which overlooked the central courtyard or lack of. Compact room not very large, flat screen tv & odd bathroom. There is a tub but the wall between the bedroom & bathroom is a glass opaque window which is a little odd but it make the bathroom brighter. Not too much privacy.

Breakfast was ok - not great - usual coldcuts, fruits pastries & cereals. There is a mini fitness center on the 6th floor on the roof which has views over the city. There is also a whirlpool jacuzzi but it is not very warm. The roof bar was not open but it was nice to bring your own wine & drink it up there,. they close the roof at 23.00 The female staff are very helpful but the male stuff could do with some lessons in manners & hospitality.

There is not too many city centre hotels so this is a great choice. Do get the tram over to la Laguna it is only 2euro 40 return & takes about 35 mins they run late too. Santa Cruz was very nice & not at all what I expected, lots of churchs & museums & lovely squares.

located in the old center of the town with restaurants and bars around. in a pesdestrian zone very quiet. the street parking is not easy, but the hotel has his own parking (not cheap). a very pleasant lobby where you can read de newspaper of the day and drink something. the breakfast is superbe with natural orange jus and a very good coffee. the choice is not so big like in other hotels, but the quality is very good and it is better little and good than much and bad. the rooms are not very big, but they are very confortable, except for a somewhat transparent glass that separates the room from the bathroom and takes the privacy of those who are in the bathroom, but if it does not light up the bathroom the problem hardly exists.

Good place if you want to stay in Santa Cruz and get a good deal on the price. Especially recommendable is the whirlpool on the top of the hotel with a view on the city. Downtown attraction and restaurants are easily accessible from the hotel. So if you plan to stay for a night or two in Santa Cruz this is certainly a good option.

For the rate that you pay this is a gem of a hotel, great location, and right in the centre of things. Very good service. The internet facility is basic and expensive however the quality of the room and service did make up for this. I will definitely stay here again when I go to Tenerife
