“quiet rural casa to stay”

In general a very nice place to stay. Quiet. You don't feel like you are in a tourist abundant island. Locals hardly speak english. Close to highway you can reach most of the points of interest within 30-45min. Backyard garden is cosy place to relax. The only thing that disturbed was a sound that you can hear from another two rooms.

“Charming cottage in Arafo”

What a great and charming place!

The Casa Cura Viejo is a small cottage, "hotel rural" as they say in Spain. It has 3 apartments and lodge 2 in each. But you can contact the owner (contact on the web page ---) and he will provide a additional bed for a child.

The swimming pool is superb, a bit cold if you stay in the january-february time, I suppose. The views (mainly the surrounding mountains) are great.

In the evening, the living room with fire place offers a nice and relaxing environment. We met a nice couple from Holland.

Although the house is in the village of Arafo, the place is very calm, specially in the evenings. But don't worry, restaurants are in walking distance and offer decent food.

The price (49 euro when we booked) is really incredible, considering what you get. Definetely worthwhile!
