“Excellent budget hotel”

Excellent budget hotel - we had our first all inclusive holiday here and the food was great my son enjoyed the snack bar and the free ice cream and branded soft drinks, the rooms are clean and basic no tea making or cooking facilities and the fridge in the room is really a mini bar fridge not much use apart from storing a few cans of soft drink.
The food is good just different - very European lots of pork ( to much pork) my 10 year old son found the food difficult but only as it was not what he eats back in Scotland - I was away over Xmas with my son (10) he loved the pools even though they are extremely cold. The indoor pool area was poorly light and appeared dark and dingy - I was not impressed when my son came across two naked Germans in the sauna not appropriate in a family hotel. But all in all a great hotel in nice noise free area where everything is within walking distance - parking is a nightmare I would not bother with a car next time as you waist to much time hunting and stalking parking spaces.I would come back again.

“Excellent value for money”

We stayed over Christmas 2011 and really enjoyed ourselves. Before booking, think what you want from your holiday hotel....... The food wasn’t a la carte but plentiful and well cooked. Fresh salad and good selection of desserts every night; the hot food was a choice of meat, usually chicken and pork; always a choice of fish and a selection of vegetables and pasta. If you are all inclusive the drinks are plentiful and well stocked. During the day, you help yourself to drinks at the pool bar with burgers, sausages, salad and fruit readily available. We didn’t think much of the burgers and sausages and so gave them a miss. The pool area was kept clean and tidy at all times as was the whole hotel. At night-time the bars were serviced by friendly waiters. The evening entertainment is typically holiday; flamenco dancers, bingo, singing etc., you don’t have to stay and watch it as you can use the bar (and other facilities) of the two adjacent hotels. Being able to freely use the other two hotels gives you more freedom on what can sometimes be a tied all-inclusive holiday. The rooms were clean and well maintained; tv, good size bathroom, hairdryer. The only fault here was the very uncomfortable pillows, we woke with a stiff neck every day, take your own??
Granted the hotel is a little worn but it doesn’t detract at all. I would rather have a slightly worn carpet than the clip cloppity clop of inconsiderate ladies with their high heels on marble floors! A mixed bag of clientele from all European countries. We don’t have young children but those there seemed to be having good fun. This was our first time away for Christmas and was definitely a positive experience. We would go again out of season but reckon there would be problems during the busier times with sunbeds etc. as the pool area and amount of sunbeds available were in short supply each day.
We are a young at heart early 50's couple but the hotel had a very mixed age clientele.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel get sun all day. Those at the back have a lovely sea view. In the...

“Very very good value for the price!!”

Once we found the Interpalace We were lucky enough to be on the 6th floor with a sea view (Amazing)room was big and comfortable. sure there could be better Tv's with more English speaking channels but who wants to sit in a watch tv? would have been nice to have a few more channles tho,so take a portable dvd if you want ot watch films in your room.

The only real down side with out room is during the still of night we could hear the air condition unit on the roof on the hotel opposite which was lower down the hill!

Bathrooms were great, shower nice and powerful and never ran out of hot water.
(basicly you look down on its roof) and pool etc the Bluesea interpalace as its now called could indeed do with a refurb but for the price paid we wont even go into it.

We found the place to be 80% Herman the Germans but would rather that than a load of screaming youth or young children, saying all that the pool area was very quiet so not all bad
Lunch was ok a smaller seclection but again White/rose/red wine could be had with lunch and eve meals or you could have a bottle or two of larger or coke etc.
Food was always plentyful, again they could do better but always found something to eat even if wasnt much in the way of to our British taste, ie there is no mash and pies etc lol.
Tons of salad stuff cooked foods have stews,Fish, different types of meat, Paella etc all in abundance, I urge you to try the soups they are lovely, bread is plentyful and varied types.
We found it alway best to get down as early as poss to avoud the crowds of Hermans as we called them, the do like to be 1st so to plss them off we done the same :)
Breaky again is good but the coffee machine queues can be tedius but again if you get there early its not too bad.

Lunch is good also but as there is so much food on offer we only went for luch 3 days out of the 7 and used the pool bar in the interpalace or went over to the Bonanza hotel snack bar, these could be so much better but cant really complain as it saves going back to room to get dressed for the resturants,(no shorts allowed) snacks in bar and pool bar are available all afternoon so you go in with your shorts on, a selection of Pizza (Yuk) the worst pizza bases ive ever tasted) bugers hotdogs and cold meats and cheese, bread, salad olives etc or some ice cream or fruit, you can have a coffe or what ever you wish to drink,

The interpalace has help yourself spirtis at the pool bar bottels lined up and coke, larger etc all on tap so all good in other words,(apart from the pizza) Bonaza you order at bar.

Pool is nice and area is well kept, crazy golf darts, pool table all there if you want them.
We only found out the hotel has a really nice indoor pool on our last day! there are two lots of lifts you have to use the 2nd set and go to basement to find the indoor pool.
Signage is a little poor so explore yourselves.

We covered over 700 miles whilst on the Island and done all the major sites, Teide is amazing although you cant get to the creater without a special permit so you have to apply online if you wish to make it to the top (although they no longer allow you to go in to creater anymore) luckily for me I done it 25 years ago probably just as well as its a hard climb :( am that old and to chunky now!! you can still get to edge of creater tho with the permit otherwise they have viewing platforms 200ft lower down beware it's 25 euros each adult 8 for kids to go up in the cable car but its something you must do once in your life, its the 3rd highest Volcano in the world so you'll love the views.

I reccomend anyone to hire a car on Tenerife driving is easy and hard to get lost as well sign posted however finding the hotel by car is quite hard, please feel free to ask me tips otherwise like us you will be driving around for ages getting lost!!!! we ended up paying a taxi 4 euros to follow him from the seafront but as with all directions its easy once you know how.again feel free to email me for help I can give you a very good Canary island car hire company that does all inclusive insurance ie no excess all new cars and also i will happily give you places to visit tips, the Gladiator Dolphin and whale cruise is very good and highly reccomended 15 euro for 2 hours with lunch drink amazing scenery and we were lucky enough to see Pilot whales and Dolphins :) dont forget to take swimwear, they stop at an amazing bay and you just jump in off boat!! Wow wish I could do that now!! it's cold back her in good old Blighty!!

Please feel free to ask me for any tips

Room Tip: Higher up the better for views

“Good Hotel”

Just got back from this hotel (now called the Blue Sea Interpalace) and had a great time. The room was great, cleaned daily and there was always lashings of hot water in the Bathroom, which was well appointed.
We were all-inclusive and found there was always a good choice of food and plenty of it. A bottle of wine was provided with each meal in addition to, or instead of, any other drinks requirements.
The outdoor pool looked a little on the fresh side so I didn't test it. The pool bar was a help yourself affair with bottle of spirits of most descriptions. Beer, coffee, tea and other soft drinks were freely available as well.
There was a free shuttle bus into the town or it didn't take long to walk down the numerous steps. Puerto de la cruz is a very big resort and this hotel is much nearer the centre and beaches than many others.
Staff were both polite and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to others without any problem. There are however many whingers who would find something to complain about.
The only suggestion we would make is that the hotel could have hotel could have done more to provide information on the hotel and locality.

Room Tip: Go for a sea view on one of the higher floors.

“Bonanza Deal!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

We ( a couple aged 30) booked this as a last minute deal via easyjet holidays. It was great value - we worked out that after deducting the cost of flights and transfers, it only cost us £15 each a night all inclusive. We were booked into the Interpalace, which is part of a complex of 3 hotels ( with the Canarife and the Bonanza),but they seem to assign your room in whichever of the 3 hotels they wish - in our case, this was the Bonanza. As far as I could see, it was the only one which could have sea views, so by requesting this, we got the Bonanza, and weren't complaining as was by far the nicest of the 3 for facilities and views. We had a massive room with views of the sea to one side and Teide to the other - definately ask for a high floor room with a sea view.
Food was fine, lots of choice for 3 main meals, very limited choice outside these times. Staff pleasant and friendly, entertainment quite good, but need to arrive early to get a seat as bar is fairly small.
Only complaint was that double rooms are 2 single beds put together
Would definately recommend this for a cheap package holiday

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room with a sea view, and if you get a choice between the 3 hotels in the compl...
