Ok were do I start me and my partner went there for a week away for christmas, we booked the hotel over the net and the hotel resembled none of the pictures. Only the lobby looked vaguely familiar.
The place its self is set at the top of a few steep hills, there was cars trying to get up the hill and could only get up by revving it first gear. So it was quite a walk into the town centre if you fancied eating out like we did I would be prepared and I recommended not wearing high heels lol. The towns its self is a great place to be the food is great and quite cheap. There are also a lot of places to visit and a train to Loro parquet which I recommend if you want to see dolphins, sea lions, Penguins etc lol.
Ok back to the hotel it is more for people 65+ to be honest that’s the age range that was there except for a few German couples so we kept well away from the nudist swimming pool as you can imagine. Are room over looked what I can only say looked like a bit of a building site with rubbished in there as well.
The hotel is quite dated. The room was clean and spacious can't complain there. The food was a buffet of all cold meats and cheese for breakfast so great if you love meat ,not so good if you are a fussy eater, so we went into town when we were hungry. The staff in the restaurant where lovely and very quick/helpful unlike at the desk where you had to wait ages for someone to realize you were standing there and were very off with us when we checked out.
The reason why the plantation is so green is because it rains quite a bit in the North compared to the South. We checked out of the hotel after just 3 days and went to another one.The other hotel was in San Miguel in the south it was great and we enjoyed the rest of our holiday.
Do not have any photos developed yet but when i do i will add them.
