My wife and I stayed at this hotel from Christmas eve through until New Year. I would say it is pretty average, no different from many other 3 star hotels we have stayed in. We were all inclusive, although there were guests staying that were paying for drinks and food (always got the impression that paying guests got served quicker at the bar!) The only difference I would say between this hotel and a 3 star hotel was it had a waiter service, unfotunately not much of a benefit when the hotel is busy and there are not many waiters on duty, which seemed to be the case. Location is probably best for the active, it's pretty high up out of town. Rooms were OK, although we did pay for a Superior room (their name for it) Guests can move between 3 hotels this group own, two are connected the other being directly opposite. All in all the stay was pretty average, what really put me off was the hotel advertising that the bars would remain open until 2:00am on New Years Eve, only to be informed at the bar at 12:00pm we now had to pay for drinks, thought this was very petty, had I been informed of this in advance I would have gone to the ATM and drawn out some more cash (we were going home next day) Victoria in the dining room is very good, what ever they pay her is not enough!!
