Really great view from our room, ate breakfast on the balcony every morning and played cards that the front desk lent to us at night. If you want to be away from the clubbing and from a typical british holiday then come here! The garden by the pool was stunning! Nice tennis court, did self catering which was fine, spar just down the road, bus just down the road takes you to north or south airport and the front desk could not have been more helpful! They even let us borrow a room after we checked out so our baby could have a nap, soo accommodating! They clean everyday if you want, sooo clean. Pool table, fooseball table, internet room and if you know a bit of spanish it helps to ask for directions there they have maps and brochures for everything! Lots of places to eat at nearby and just stunning views! Was a bit cloudy but hey you cant control the weather! And the pool was chilly but if it had been warmer then it would have been perfect to have a cold pool! Would definitely go back here again!

Before booking, I had read various reviews about this hotel. To be quite honest, it was an incredibly good deal, so my expectations were not that high. The room was quite clean and spacious enough. Half-board was included in the booking, which was fine for the price. The dinner buffet was a little boring and could have been a bit better with a few small changes, but not bad enough to say "avoid".
The hotel is located in the area La Paz, where one can get to many restaurants and bars and shops by foot quite easily, and the evening strolls along the elevated paths along the coast are quite enjoyable.
The only major drawback that I would point out is that the walls are very thin. Unfortunately, when the drunken neighbor stumbles in at 1:30 in the morning and decides to ramble on about how wonderful life is on the balcony, one's night is practically over.

i've just read the latest review on your website and i totaly agree that there were lots of non-british people in this hotel - in fact this is something one needs to be aware of when going Overseas, to Foreign Countries as there are are lots of people out there talkiing foreign languages all over the place and ii expect this is all the fault of Brussels bureaucrrats
BUT i thought thiis hotel was ideal for the time because we only had about a week to take off, go to tenerife where my next door neighbour comes from, have a heated swimpool ({actually, needed to get Reception to ask the technician to upgrade the temperature but this was done immediately and its a nice big pool}
and tho its a distance frrom the town (either down some steps or roadway) the local shops eg spar are ok for a picnic on balcony etc and we found some nice places to eat / snack out in the town
we had a lovely big room with a balcony overlooking the gardens and loads of room to sit around inside if we wanted to
Welcome from staff was brilliant, esp. as we were a day late having got the flight wrong, and also help about ticket concessions (bono thing) for airport bus

From a Londoner (me) and an an Irishman (my partner) we'd recommend this place for a relaxing healthy holiday with no worries

On arriving at the hotel we did not find any of the hotel staff friendly or welcoming and if anything were made to feel like we did not fit in with their usual clientelle (ie over 60 and non-british) throughout our stay.

My partner and myself wanted to book somewhere that was relaxing and would give us a varied choice of bars should we decide to out for drinks (bearing in mind I was 5 months pregnant at the time and so not drinking or after a very late night out). Sadly the choice of bars where not particularly large or varied and closed at 11.30pm We did try the hotel bar one night but the atmosphere was dreadful. The staff at the Zebra bar were lovely so we went there a few times.

The rooms were cleaned every other day and the cleaners did a very good job. The only problem we encountered were cockroaches which in itself was not appalling as we had been warmed in advance by our tour operator that we may encounter the odd one. What I did find frustrating was the reception staff's resolution to the problem- handing my boyfriend a can of cockroach spray and telling us he would let the cleaners know.

As far as the location goes it was a 20 minute walk into the centre which was down hill and gave us enough little shops and walkways that allowed us to enjoy the walk. Returning to the hotel was a different matter due to it being uphill however it only cost three euros for a taxi so we used that option most of the time.

Overall, we enjoyed our holiday largely due to the fact that we knew we had to make the most of our time there as it would be our last holiday for a while. However, I would not stay in this hotel or section of the Island again.
