nice big room with great view, large selection of food, helpful staff, nice pool, great location, very welcoming of children, evening entertainment was aimed at older people but my 2 year old loved joining in with the ballroom dancing!

It was one of the best hotels i have ever stayed. Great location, very friendly staff, very good service, excellent food and good atmosphere. I would stay there again.

Just home from two weeks here with my wife. It was our second stay at this hotel , the first being five years ago.
The hotel is much improved.

I emailed in advance asking for a high up room overlooking the pool and got a suite on the top floor with the biggest bed I've ever slept in!
The room was spotless and cleaned daily with sheets changed every other day.
Staff were great especially the restaurant staff. Food was excellent and varied. Something for everyone and I'm a fussy eater.
The bar was fine with good service on the all inclusive.

Outside there is a lovely pool area with three pools set in lovely gardens.

We never used the a la carte restaurants or the spa so can't comment.

The only downside is the entertainment which is absolutely dire out of our fourteen nights ten were the same singers and their keyboards. If your over sixty and enjoy dancing then it's fine.

Stayed here on an all-inclusive basis from 31/12/2010 - 07/01/2011 in room 401 (I think). The room overlooked the pool - as opposed to the sea - and was ideally situated to benefit from the afternoon sun. The hotel's location is well placed, being just a short walk to the town centre, The food available at breakfast, lunch and dinner was varied and of a very good standard.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the San Felipe and will be returning in Dec, 2011.
