We stayed at the Beatriz Atlantis just before Christmas. The location is ideal at the end of the promenade and we paid a little extra for a room for a sea view which was well worth it. The balcony didn't get a lot of sun in the day time but it was pleasant to sit out on in the evenings and watch the waves.

The room itself was a little on the small side but was nicely decorated. The carpets in the corridors are very heavily stained and don't give a good first impression.

The restaurant was nicely set out and there was an excellent variety of food. The 'theme' nights were slightly less successful than they could of been as the chef seemed reluctant to add any spice to the Mexican night or the oriental themed evening. Waiting staff were efficient but not overly friendly.

The biggest disappointment was that the indoor pool was not free to use and it would have cost 24 euros for the two of us to spend an afternoon there. Although the outdoor pool was heated, the whole pool area was in the shade by about 1pm.

The hotel overall is quite nice, the rooms are clean unless you want to use the extra blanket from the wardrobe, the smell was AWFULL!!! (completely ruining the clean feeling). The approach of the restaurant staff was quite bad, they forced us to sit outside in the wind, just because we were a big group (conference). The waiters were rude, refusing to speak any other language than spanish (which is a shame for 'supposedly 4* hotel). They created the feeling that I'm there for them and not the other way. On the other hand, the food was very good, thought whomever comes late won't have any, since they don't refill the buffet. I would simply not recommend this place for a pleasant stay.

highly recommend this hotel for cleanliness, friendly staff, food and centrally situated. however if you are thinking of visiting Tenerife, most advisable you visit during Carnival time when the place is at its best

Acceptable for the price paid. The evening entertainment, advertised "live music", was good with a live duo the first night, but it was the same duo and repertoire every night! Once is enough. Saturday night was different with a good folklore group.
Breakfast was adequate although I've had better variety. The general atmosphere is impersonal as evening tables are free seating which means the wine waiter is different every night. Tables are very close together. Overall it is a bit like being in a cafeteria.
Some of the furnishings are tired. There was a split seam on the bed coverlet, a hole in the pillow case and the carpet in front of the lift was worn out (6th floor).
