This hotel was just the right choice for a vacation to Lanzarote -- centrally located in Arrecife, clean and comfortable, and a very good price (I recommend paying the extra 10 EUR/night for a room with an ocean view).

The hotel is well appointed and good clean rooms, front rooms are very good with views over the playa Reducto. There are some good restaurants nearby. Most of the staff were very curtious and helpful. Breakfast was a good selection of buffet service but the coffee and tea service needs improving
The biggest problem was that on 3 mornings the hot water was very cool and on the 4th morning the water was stone cold. The hotel did not want to offer a discount for no showers or shaves even a token guesture. would have done Can accept that sometimes there are technical problems but seems a somewhat high handed attitute to take from the management - we have had your money so no!!

Located 300 metres from the town centre, directly facing the beach this is a modern hotel, beautifully maintained, with good sized rooms and a good selection for breakfast.
The rooms seem to be divided into 3 groups, the most expensive being those with a balcony overlooking the promenade and sea front - with excellent squeaky clean bathrooms. The second is at the back of the hotel over the main road out of town - probably noisy. The third are internal rooms looking out to a balcony surrounding a central atrium probably very quiet but no sun or view.
This hotel is manned with pleasant, helpful staff and is excellent value

Hotel Diamar is situated opposite Recuelta beach in Arrecife, about 10 mins drive from the airport. The rooms are well appointed, good size and spotlessly clean. There are bars and restaurants close by and it is about 2 mins walk from a bus stop where you can get a bus to any of the resorts on the island. Staff members, while they do not speak much english, are very helpful and efficient. We reported that our air conditioning was not working and it was fixed within the hour. Breakfast was buffet style with a fairly good choice. The hotels facing the beach all have good size balconies so I suggest you request one of these.
