My wife and I have just returned home after staying at the Aquarius,the hotel staff are friendly,the food is of a good standard,rooms are quite spacious and very clean,most rooms don't have air-con but ceiling fans instead that was our only gripe during our 10 day stay.
Would definately return at a later date when hopefully the rooms are air-conditioned,

Where do we start...I booked this hol with my friend Tina as she had never experienced Lanz. I love Lanz and when we arrived it was roasting. We had arrived to the end of a heatwave. The staff at reception never broke a smile. They gave us a room that was miles away from reception and a bottom floor. Every second floor is a bottom floor as resort is stepped back in 2 floor sections..( request a balcony ) If you get a bottom floor then you have to be very carfeul as someone can just pop in and grab your bag...The patio is nearly part of the walk way so they are on top of you.. No privacy....

Plenty of sunbeds but eleven umbrellas for over a hundred beds and we were told the others are broken. Couldn't believe they expected people to stay exposed all day. So as you can imagine pool area was quiet.. I think the idea is to make life for guests uncomfortable so they go elsewhere and do not avail of inclusive drinks..

The breakfast is fine, but lunch and dinner is awful. It is like the chef is given a prison budget and told to repeat it every day. If you like dessert go out to dinner. If you like hospital or prison food then you are in for a treat......... Spaghetti bol was pasta and ketchup.euwwh

The staff bar one waiter make you feel like you are bothering them and never smile or say a good morning.

The rooms are fine but need refurb, fans are old and rickety. We talked to other guests and it seemed to be pot luck if you had a fan that worked. We hired one for 16 euro for 3 nights ( rip off ) but necessary.

Nightly entertainment is like most hotels in Lanzarote............very outdated but god help them......they try....

To be honest if I won a free break in this hotel I would refuse to go back...........

We have stayed in Club Aquamar on at least three previous occasions over the last 7 years and the decor has not improved in that time. We are RCI (timeshare) members and expect a certain standard of accommodation, which club Aquamar is failing to deliver. On this occasion our fridge was not working and it took from Thursday to Tuesday to get it changed. The hot water was brown on our arrival and was never sorted. While the view is excellent I doubt if we will make a return visit to the resort.

My family & I stayed here over Christmas & New Year 2005 and were not impressed at all with the apaertments.
As an RCI member, I would expect a certain level of accommodation, and unfortunately this fell far short of the RCI standard on offer.
The units themselves were extremely basic, and quite old and tatty.
We have a 2 year old child and I had to carry his pushchair up numerous flights of stairs 3 or 4 times a day due to the poor access ways (not recommended for disabled etc.)
On a plus point, the views and the location were excellent.
The on site restaurant we also found to be of an excellent standard and service was excellent.
