This was our 5th stay at Club Aquarius and although a little tlc would not go amiss, the apartment complex still offers great value for money. The apartments are cleaned 5 times per week, and all the staff are engaging and welcoming.
The location offers superb views across the harbour and across the ocean to Furteventura.
Each level from 1 to 5 is set back to allow for panoramic views.
We stayed self catering and the kitchen provides for all your requirements.
There is also an iron/board and hair dryer provided.
There are some excellent restaurants located in and around the harbour providing freshly caught fish produce as well as an assortment of tapas bars.
Plenty of British bars showing all the sports, including any football game you want to watch.
We will be returning in 2012.

I won't be staying at this hotel again as the bedroom has no airflow through it at all. There is no air-con and no fan in the bedroom. The bedroom window opens into a strange vertical tunnel to a sun roof high above. There was a glass and a couple of beer bottles in the gravel near our walkway which remained there for our entire stay. The pool was clean but very cold, they gave you the smallest plastic cups I have seen at the bar meaning you had two mouthfuls and then had to queue up again. The food was nice and hot, there wasn't a great deal of choice but there was always something, even for my partner who's a fussy eater. The apartment was ok and clean. I didn't like the fact that there was no window at all in or near the bathroom, we had to wedge the door open to let some air into the room. The hotel is located up quite a steep hill. Of the 3 hotels we have stayed at so far in this resort we would rate this one second but would not return

Stayed here during the Easter hols with my 6 year old son and partner.

POSITIVES
- We stayed all inclusive for roughly £25 a head per day. It would have bargain at twice the price. Exceptional value.
- The food is unbelievable. I was expecting chicken nuggets etc for the price but there was loads of options every night - roasts, ethnic food, chops, massive ribs, fish. Everything was well cooked, warm and of high quality. Truly brilliant.
- Barmen weren't shy with their measures of spirits.
- Stunning views from front balcony of apartment.
- Saw maids every day.
- Close to old port.

NEGATIVES
- Loads of cats going about at night. Not particularly nasty ones but I'm not a feline fan.
- Entertainment was poor, bingo nearly every night. We were off season though and there was only one boy at the time, might get better.
- Drinks seemed expensive if you weren't all inclusive.

All in all a delight of a place, good mix of people - families, old dears, couples, early 20 somethings, british, german, scandanavians. If your thinking of booking up - go for it.
