Stayed self-catering - though not much equipment in the kitchen, I didn't intend to cook anyway!! Beds and apartment cleaned daily; towels changed regularly. Situation perfect - two minutes to sea front - another two to get down the steps to the beach! Overlooking the Kasbah and about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Yumbo centre. Only found it noisy on Fri/Sat night/early hours of next morning when groups of Spanish youths were walking back from the late night clubs - quite amusing watching them!! Didn't use the restarant or bar areas - though wouldn't recommend the coffee by the pool - yuck! Will definately stay there again for the situation and large apartment with very large balcony. Only real warning for anyone with mobility difficulties - whilst there is a lovely promenade on the level, you can encounter steep hills and lots of steps as the resort is high above the beach but lots of great eating places and entertainment around.

Me & my boyfriend arrived at midday on our first day of our hols only to be told "WAIT ONE MINUTE" over & over again at reception & we're left wating 30 mins in the waiting area for manwell from fawlty towers who spoke little english & was quite abrupt to book us in,he did make up for his lack of customer service by managing to book us a sea view room! Room was clean but kitchen did not have enough utensils,there was one pan so could only cook one thing at a time & no sign of a toaster or grill so with us being self catering this didn't help much,but bed was changed & new towels were given daily!
Need earplugs to sleep at night as this is right in the centre & the matress ha you might as well sleep on the beach!!! ALL IN ALL DON'T BOTHER!!

We went there on a 2 week holiday,both of us are very young so we didn´t think we were going to be bothered by the clubs being so close by,,,
but when we arrived 4 in the night time into our room it was like we were in the club THE MUSIC was very loud. And when we woke up some cafes out in the C.C were playing some music loud.

The room was were really nice and clean , it was a big room with seperate kitchen and a large bathroom. The maid was very good, she clean every day and changed the sheets and gave us new towels.
Location was good if your going to club there it was next door and a great location for the beach it was just 5 mins away.
The pool was great very clean and good zone for sunbathing. And it is also possible to go to the roof and sunbathe, it has sunloungers and showers up there.
Overall even tough the clubs were always blasting it did not bother us that much and we always fell a sleep. And it great to have fresh towel everyday cause you´ll need it. So we really enjoyed our stay there.
But i would not say that Playa del Ingles is a family place.

I've just come back after staying a week at Partner-playa del ingles and I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I've ever been in. The biggest problem is the noise for the hotel is directly above the hotspot of clubs and bars, maybe if i came here when i was still 21 on a lads all-week bender then i probably wouldn't mind it. Sleep all day and then go out all night and i wouldn't need to worry about taxi fare since it's literally just downstairs But if you have a family or wanting a relaxing week, this hotel is a nightmare, the nightclubs don't finish till 6am every night!

The food is also disgusting, lack of choice and cold. One night I actually chuckled out loud when i was watching this Italian man on a opposite table stab, prod his tortellini, the look of disgust on the man's face was priceless.

The room is clean enough and the shower is quite powerful. The beds are pretty awful, myself, my wife and a friend all had sore backs after a week.

All in all, I'm a very laid back person and not fussy at all, it's usually my wife who tuts and moans at our previous hotels and pointing out faults which i don't notice or not bothered, but I felt I had to write out about this hotel, if you're going to be sleep deprived throughout your stay it's very hard to actually enjoy your holiday if you find yourself walking around like a zombie.
