Great hotel. We stayed twice last year,once the year before and going back this November for 6 days.
Rooms are big and are cleaned everyday. We always stayed in a studio which is quite convenience as you can cook your own meals once you are back from the beach.
Fridge with a bottle of water as a welcom is a plus.
Free WIFI access and beach towel (to be returned).
Breakfast is good enough. A pity they did not serve slices of tomato last time as they did on our first visit.
Rossie provided us with external view which we really appreciated.
1' from the beach and 10' from the bus station and Shopping Centre with cinemas.
There is a better shopping centre at the other end of the beach (20' walk) with an Eroski supermarket (I guess it migth be like a Tesco but much much much better and larger) and cinemas.
Check both cinemas websites as they sometimes have offers.
Las Palmas is a nice city which is not tottaly conquered by tourist as they tend to stay in the south (Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles, Puerto Rico). It still feels Spanish and that's what makes me come back again (and the weather).

We have stayed at the Faycan several times with large groups of friends; and every ti9me their service gets better and better. It is in a great position for the beach and Las Palmas Santa Catalina; it has good rooms ( we usually stay in the apartments with fridge and kitchen and sofa areas) and sun-loungers on the roof; lovely big breakfasts and very helpful staff. There are lifts in from the street and to all floors (important as some of our friends use scooters) and the staff will always help with any query or need - even arranging pizzas to be brought in for us in their big lounge one stormy night! Can't praise them enough, and we will always stay there when we are visiting Las Palmas

This hotel is a three star so dont expect five star accommodation. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day, good continental breakfast and located just off the sea front.It was 10 min walk from the bus station, lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. We travelled here at the end of February and found ourselves in the Carnaval- this added greatly to our enjoyment. Las Palmas is a large city - very Spanish and a world away from Maspalomas!

This hotel is functional rather than luxurious - but it has everything you need. No balconies but a large roof terrace with sun loungers. Excellent location right on the promenande with a sandy beach just a few metres away and a wide choice of restaurants nearby. Also conveniently located for the bus station. Very good value for the price.
