“Las Brisas 1 and 2 - good budget holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

We stayed at these apartments for a relaxing week. They are close to 2 beaches both around 5 minutes away, there are shops and restaurants very close by.

We had a ground floor apartment which was clean and comfortable. It is a very cheap solution to a relaxing holiday. The apartment had a very small kitchen (we only needed the fridge and somewhere to plug in a kettle so we could make snacks and cups of tea) although it does have all the necessary cups and plates and pans and a two ring hob so you could knock up something if you wanted). We had a small terrace overlooking the central area which was a grassy area with some trees and a nice pool, however the loungers that were provided were looking a little the worse for wear).

The restaurant on site had closed down but it was only 5 minutes walk to the marina and there were more restaurants than we could have used in three weeks so no problems there. They vary in price from fairly cheap to expensive but the ones we used were very good.

There was a small supermarket on site and 2 others within 2 minutes so very easy to shop around if you wanted to. Also there are more at the marina.

The beaches aren't very big but they are very nice and you can get to them via the road or by taking a cut through onto the waterside footpath which is much more enjoyable, you can be at the sea within 2 minutes. There are lots of little nooks and crannies along this as well.

There is a bus into Cuitadella that stops at various places around the residential area and an easy to follow timetable. So you don't need a car unless you want to explore the island.

Overall, very relaxing, the receptionist was helpful and we enjoyed our holiday here.

“great for a budget family holiday”

we recently holidayed at Las Brisas, and whilst it is not five star luxury, you are ot paying five star prices. It is as it says, a budget accomodation. That said the apartment we had was spacious with two good sized bedrooms. We arrived about 9pm, with reception closed but good instructions were left and they had been kind enough to pre-assemble the cot bed for our 18month old son to go straight into to - a small but significant gesture. The receptionist was very helpful and whilst you had to pay extra for a toaster etc (which we knew about before), when we needed a light bulb changing it was done promptly with no fuss. This is a really nice quiet establishment with a great supermarket on site. Several of the apartments are owned long term by Brits which I think says a lot for the area. The resort is great for those with families, every restaurant would accomodate our son and some did a better job of entertaining him than us! The beaches are great, shallow sloping and clean. If you want a budget family holiday in a good location with great amenities, I think this resort and accomodation can meet those needs admirably.

Room Tip: ask for ground floor if you have young children. Block B is good.

“Dirty...will def not be going back”

When first entering the apartment it seemed nice...it is only when you look around at the cob webs all over the ceiling the dust all over the walls that you realise it is filthy. The bins were only emptied once during the week and towels only changed once ( the towels were so thin and rough, they would have been thrown away long ago if they had been mine ). The bed linen is not changed at all. It has no kettle or toaster and very sparse kitchen equipment...although there was a microwave. The 2 ring hob took forever to heat up. It is a shame as with a good clean and update of kitchen, towels and bed linen they could be made into relatively nice apartments. There are also a lot of ants around the entire grounds. The pool is quite nice and there are sun beds, but no parasols. There is a supermarket on site which is well stocked, however, no bar facilties. I would advise anyone to think twice about staying here.

Room Tip: I would avoid staying here

“Enjoyable Holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2011

We enjoyed our recent holiday staying at Las Brisas in a 2 bed ground floor apartment. The complex was lovely with a large pool (which we pretty much had to ourselves), a small play area which the children liked and a nice setting amongst pine trees. The complex was quiet, which was just what we wanted rather than in-house entertainment, but it was also ideally situated between both local beaches and a short stroll to the marina (where entertainment was available should you wish it). The apartments were cleaned regularly and although the kitchen equipment was basic, we found it adequate for our needs. All the staff were approachable and friendly. A very good base for a family holiday.

“Very good value for money, but!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2011

We stayed at Las Brisas for a week and by and large were very impressed. The location was good, some 5/6 minutes stroll from each of the main beaches plus the marina. There was a good, pretty large pool set in large grounds with lots of trees for shade if you wanted it.

The apartments consisted of a bedroom, living room, bathroom and patio. All were spacious, comfortable and well decorated. There was also a small but functional kitchen.

The apartments were not luxurious and while simply decorated they were comforable and gave good value for money.

Only complaint was that in a week the towels and sheets were only changed once. This was disappointing and was the only let down
