My partner and I stayed here between 30th September and 7th October through a Thomson package holiday. The hotel is in a great location, just round the corner from the beautiful Cala N'Bosch main beach, and the marina. We had a suite on the ground floor overlooking the massive pool - lovely big rooms, great bathroom and terrace, only criticism was that the beds were quite hard. The food was amazing - there was a Balearic night which showcased local food (including shots of a local schnapps!), as well as a gala dinner with cava. The entertainment was limited to say the least - 2 nights out of 7, but didn't bother us. We aso tried out the spa in the basement - treatments were expensive but took advantage of the sauna, steam room and pool which were free! Overall the staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful - they let us borrow a beach umbrella for most of the week free of charge, and also stored our bags after check out. A few tips for anyone travelling to the hotel or the resort generally 1) local buses are very cheap - less than 2 euros to Ciutadella, compared with 26 euros for a Thomson excursion. We also went to Mahon via Ciutadella on bus, which came to less than 14 euros return - the excursion was over 40 euros. 2) Definitely worth exploring Son Xoriguer beaches which is around 10 minutes from the hotel, but is made up of small beaches in rocky coves - tends to be fewer British people and more locals and is much quieter 3) There is a Bettabuy supermarket next to the hotel which we used at least twice a day - it is very well priced, particularly wine (less than 3 euros in some cases) 4) If you after cigarettes, you have to travel to Ciutadella as there are no shops in the resort that sell these 5) Would highly recommend the entertainment and cocktails at Valentin Star hotel on the marina
